3 Cups Drawing

I drew the three cups like this because I wanted to have space in each cup and I wanted to show the height difference in each cup. I was inspired to make my drawing like this because I saw the example drawing and wanted to make mine similar but with different objects and in different places. My 3 cups drawing was originally going to be a cup, a measuring cup, and a water bottle; but I changed the water bottle to a paint bottle. I changed the water bottle to a paint bottle because I thought it would be easier to draw and something that looks a little bit different from the other cups. At the beginning of my drawing, I tried drawing what I thought the bottles looked like and soon changed the shapes slowly,  making more specific changes with the shape of each bottle. Once I finally got the shapes I wanted I started adding more and more detail to make it look more realistic. Something I think I did well with this drawing is spacing each object out, I wanted to show gravity in each object so that it doesn't look like the cups are floating. I also think I did well with detail because I think you can tell what each object is. One of the challenges that occurred in my drawing was the shape. I had trouble drawing the cups because they were hard to work with, not only with shape but size, and the amount of spacing I needed for each object. I solved these challenges by slowly changing each object, like the positions, shapes, and sizes of these objects. How I grew as a person/ artist is by learning how to make my cups have form and how to make each of my cups have balance. This helped me grow as a person/ artist because it's helping me be aware of the things I will need to include in the future pictures that I draw. Something I learned from the 3 cups drawing project is spacing and showing gravity in the picture. I think it really helped me realize how to make the picture look more realistic and all around just look a lot better.
