Oil Pastel- Choice of Subject

My drawing is a pastel of 4 different pop cans with a table and sky backround. Something I like about my drawing is the detail I put on each pop can. I liked how I made the crush look like theres water around it, it looks more realistic. Something I dont like about my picture is the birds in the backround, I think they dont look realistic. The color scheme I used in this drawing was some complimentary, with the orange pop can and blue sky. For the pop cans I used a cylinder shape to create the out line of what each can was supposed to look like. I also used space in my drawing by making the cans look like they are higher off the ground, I made the sky the backround. I used balence in my drawing, I made it asymmetrical with half a can on the left side and the amount of birds on each side. Lastly I used emphasis, but making the cans in my picture the main focus.
