Still Life

I feel like I spent some good time picking out these objects for my photographs, so that each photograph looks like they are supposed to. The objects I chose were supposed to look natural and aesthetic. I put in a lot of energy in trying to position each photo in the correct spot. What I did to make my subjects look interesting was positioning them in a creative way, so that the viewer can see each object in a different way. The black & white filter I used looks more abstract on each object and that's why I used the filter I did. I am pleased with my backgrounds, because each background is different and has different shadows on each photograph. I payed attention to what was beyond the subject because I was looking at the shadows and how they affect the photo. My favorite photo is the worms eye, because it looks like you are actually looking up from the ground. My least favorite photo is the asymmetrical, because its a really busy picture. Something I think I could improve on as a photographer is the focus of an object and the background of the photo.
