How I restored my photos was by using the tool in Photoshop called the spot healing brush, this helps spots on the photo that are not needed disappear. Yes I was able to bring back contrast in the faded areas, because in some spots I made it lighter and some I made darker with the contrast. I think I was pretty successful with the restoration, because a lot of the spot did go away in the after picture and made the pictures look clearer. For the first picture there wasn't a lot of spots to hide so there wasn't much of a difference, but in the second photo there was a big difference with the spots. The biggest difference in the first picture is how I made his face look clearer. For the second picture the biggest difference was the spots in the background. I did enjoy this process, because I liked to clear each picture up.
