Watercolor- Choice of Subject

My choice watercolor painting is of the night sky and pine trees at the bottom. Something I like about my painting is the sky. I like how the sky goes from dark to light. Something I dont like about my painting is the stars, I think they could have smaller and look more realistic. In my painting I used color because I used a cool color scheme in my painting. I used value in my painting because the sky goes from dark blue to light. I also used texture in my trees by using the stippling affect, it made the trees look more rough. I used balence in my painting because on each side of my painting its symmetrical. I lastly used contrast by using a difference in color and texture.
