My abstract painting is called Sunman. I named it this, because its a snowman in the summer. My abstract painting is a painting of a snowman in the summer. I think this is a good example of abstract, because snowmen are usually white and its usually the winter time. Something I like about my painting is the sky. I used the technique with the tissue paper to make it look like there are clouds. Something I dont like is the grass. There are alot of random blue spots in the grass and I wish it looked more like grass. I used dark thin lines to out line the snow man to make it look more fake & cartoonish. I used color by having complimentary colors next to eachother like the orange snowman head and the blue hat or blue sky. I used texture by making the snowman look smooth and the sky have rough clouds. I also used balence and the term I used was asymmetrical because there is one part of the snowman on one side and two other parts of the snowman on the other side making it asymmetrical. Lastly I used a pattern with the grass becuase I was using the same types of movment with the end of the brush for each part of the grass.
